Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and film maker. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Modeling began during the 1970s. She soon became one the top models. Then, in the mid 1990s she was enrolled in acting and theatre. Later, in Los Angeles and California she appeared on stage for the first time. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. She was Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut movie. The critics, initially unconvinced by her acting skills, were eventually won over by her continuous performance. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was especially praised by the critics for how well she held up in the face of Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and many others. She has admitted that acting isn't something she enjoys. She took a self-imposed long absence in the year 2005. After a long break, she returned for her part in Thor. The Oscar-winning film of her husband Nightcrawler was one of her performances. Later, she would appear in comedies with a lighthearted tone such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas has been one among the most prominent UFC female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success in and outside the Octagon, Namajunas is an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Throughout Rose her career, she's experienced periods of extremes and lows, but every times she has come out ahead. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted under three minutes the round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time that a woman had ever competed in a tournament with a major promoter all over the world. Namajunas won a number of fights following her win including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
